# Granting permissions to roles

If you are a **System Admin** or the **System Admin** has provided you with **System Admin** rights, you can restrict access to users by assigning permissions to a role and assigning that role to a user.

The permissions to roles can be modified from the backend using APIs. Please reach out to our **Solutions** team for assistance.
